📢 Notification Summary

Applications are invited for TNTET Paper I and Paper II exclusively from eligible Working Teachers appointed on or before 01.09.2025. This applies to SGT, BT Assistant, and equivalent cadres in Govt, Aided, and Recognized Private Schools across Tamil Nadu.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Who can apply: Working Teachers appointed on or before 01.09.2025.
• Designation: SGT, BT Assistant, and equivalent cadres.
• Pay Mode: Time Scale, Consolidated, or Part-time.
• Schools: Govt, Aided, and Recognized Private Schools (State & Other Boards).
• Promotion: Qualified serving teachers opting for promotion may also apply.

Candidates must possess qualifications defined in:

• G.O.(Ms).No.13 (30.01.2020): For SGT / BT Assistants / BRTEs.
• G.O.(Ms).No.144 (17.06.2025): For Special Education Teachers (IEDSS).
• G.O.(Ms).No.12 (30.01.2020): Elementary Education Subordinate Services.
• Any qualification defined by NCTE for teacher appointment.

1. 👤 Who is Eligible to Apply?

Applications are invited for TNTET Paper I and Paper II only from Working Teachers who meet these specific conditions:

• Appointment Date: Must be appointed on or before 01.09.2025.
• Cadre: Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT), BT Assistants, and other Equivalent cadre Teachers.
• Pay Status: Time Scale, Consolidated, or Part-time pay.
• Departments Covered: School Education, Elementary Education, MBC Dept, Adi-Dravida Welfare, Tribal Welfare, Corporations (Chennai/Coimbatore/Madurai), Forest Dept, etc.
• School Types: Government, Aided, and Unaided Recognized Private Schools.

Note: Qualified serving teachers who opt for promotion may also apply.

3. 🎓 What are the Educational Qualifications?

Teachers must possess qualifications as defined in the following Government Orders and NCTE rules:

• For SGT / BT Assistants: As per G.O.(Ms).No.13, School Education Dept, dated: 30.01.2020.
• For Special Education (IEDSS): As per G.O.(Ms).No.144, dated: 17.06.2025.
• Elementary Education: As per G.O.(Ms).No.12, dated: 30.01.2020.
• All qualifications defined by the NCTE.

TRB reserves the right to disqualify any candidate who attends without NCTE prescribed Education Qualifications.

9. 📝 What is the Service Certificate (Annexure-I)?

This is a mandatory document for all Working Teachers. It certifies your employment details.

• Who Signs it? Headmaster / BEO / Correspondent / Principal.
• Who Countersigns it? DEO / CEO / Competent Authority.

Key Details in Certificate: Name, Date of Appointment, Post Held, Joining Date, Regularization Date, School UDISE Code, and EMIS ID.

10. ⚠️ Malpractice & Criminal Cases

Strict Warning: Possession of mobile phones or electronic gadgets inside the exam hall (even switched off) will lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.

Criminal Cases: If you have any pending or convicted criminal/disciplinary cases, you must upload the FIR or Court Orders. Hiding this information will lead to rejection.
